A two week fun packed programme for schools will start on Monday 25th June and run through until Friday 6th July. Schools will have the chance to 'TAKEPART' in over eighty activities including Swimming gala's at the Prince Regent, Dance taster sessions in their school halls, Street Surfing in the playground and Green Bowls taster sessions at Preston Park. Every school in the city will have the opportunity to TAKEPART in some sort of physical activity over the 2 weeks by either getting involved with the taster sessions, going along to their SSCo's cluster events, entering a School Sport Partnership competition or organising their own school event.

Speak to your school's P.E coordinator / P.E department who will have more information about what events each school has planned.

Stop Press TAKEPART 2011: Over 12,000 young people took part across the city. This includes tasters, competitions, festivals and volunteering.
